Corrigendum

The candicidin gene cluster from Streptomyces griseus IMRU 3570, by A. B. Campelo & J. A. Gil

Microbiology vol. 148, part 1, pp. 51-59

In re-analysing the canP3 gene, the authors have discovered an error. It now appears that this gene encodes a polypeptide carrying six modules (not five as originally described) for the formation of six (not five) out of seven conjugated double bonds of the candicidin molecule.
